Supplements and Vitamins for Sugar Gliders

Either you prepare your own sugar glider food, like the BML or SGS 2, or if you purchase ready-made; you need to add both supplements and vitamins to provide your sugar glider with a complete diet. When a sugar glider lives in the wild they naturally consume a variety of fruits, nectar and bugs according to supply and season that they need. When a sugar glider lives in captivity it is the owner’s responsibility to ensure that their sugar gliders still gets everything they need.

There are many great vitamins and supplements on the market, they are not espenside, very easy find in a petstor or order online and convenient to use. Below you will find 5 different ones that are commonly used. The first 2 are a powder that is sprinkled over the food and both are included in the BML, the SGS 2 and some other homemade diets.
